e-Mentoring for Student Success (eMSS) is an innovative, statewide content and exceptionality specific, asynchronous, online mentoring program that accelerates the growth and increases the retention of new teachers. This online mentoring program has been implemented in Kansas since 2012 supporting new Special Education teachers statewide. Successful completion of eMSS can move a teacher’s licensure since it is an approved mentoring program by KSDE. During this session we will review what successful implementation of this program in your district looks like from recruitment to monthly data check ins to mentor/mentee support all year long.
